VANCE'S DRIVING SCHOOL PRICES:
Our goal is not to be the cheapest, but to provide the most value for your dollar. GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE IN ANY DOLLAR AMOUNT- Refund and cancellation policy- Deposits are transferable to any class. No refund will be issued after the course has started. Classes may be cancelled at any time do to unforeseen circumstances, illness, or low enrollment numbers. Our current prices are: (additional $10.00 gas fee if gas prices go above $2.74 per gal.) Comprehensive Ultimate Driver Ed Program- Course price- $395.00 and you save money by mailing into the state for your permit at the conclusion of the program. $420.00 price includeds the permit from Vance's (SPECIAL NOW $405.00 GOING ON WHICH INCLUDES PERMIT FEE) Payment in full is most appreciated, but we realize that is not always possible therefore we offer payment plans which accept installment payments as follows: (Installment payments can be made) PAYMENT PLAN- Fee can be paid by paying a $100.00 deposit to reserve your place on the class roster before the first class date. You can make any payments you wish throughout the four week program. We ask that all money be paid by the last class. $20.00 CHARGE FOR ALL BAD CHECKS OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED: Private driving lessons for students with their learners permit $40.00 per hour for first two lessons. Price is $45.00 per lesson for each additional lesson required. Road Test Preparation in your car $50.00 per lesson Road Test Prep and use of our car for the test $80.00 Standard shift driving lessons $50.00 per hour. _-_-_-____________________-_-_-_______________________________-_-_-______ 2010 Prices: $395.00 for economy package $420.00 for Full Service Premiere Package Vance's Driver Ed Program will consist of a minimum of: 1. 30 classroom instruction hours. 2. At least 10 hours of on road driving time. 3. Comprehensive driving reports to help the parents see the progress of each student when they drive and it also keeps us instructors accountable for what happens during each lesson. Nobody else provides this kind of helpful feedback. The purpose of these driving reports is to help both the instructor and the student to identify areas of weakness so the skill can be improved upon as well as to provide valuable feedback for the parents about each driving lesson. We will not just ride around- Our students will master each skill because we will constantly work on them like....have students do turn-abouts in driveways-parallel parking-work on backing maneuvers-make lane changes and merge onto highways-as well as learn to drive in heavy traffic and keep track of everyone around them at all times. Students will master the basics and learn to feel comfortable with steering and braking before we will move on to the more involved situations and skills. Our students will also be taught hands on skills like... how to change a flat tire/ how to check oil-transmission fluid-radiator and overfill tank-brake fluid-power steering fluid/ how to use jumper cables. Nobody else that I know of cares enough to provide this instruction hands on for each student.

(If a student completes Vance's Driver Ed Program and participates in our road test preparation program and does not pass their license test on the first attempt, we will provide instruction free of charge for their second road test. .*Offer is subject to instructor availability as road tests may get scheduled during a scheduled classroom teaching time and we may not be available for your road test appointment time. We have no control over when the road test is scheduled. Implying that anyone is guaranteed to pass a road test is not legal according to Maine driver education rules and laws. Our offer does nothing other than suggest that we are confident in our teaching and in our ability to help drivers learn to do everything correctly as required by the state examiners during their drivers test.
